David has practiced public affairs in a wide variety of environments, starting with crisis communications and public affairs work in Washington, D.C. before concentrating full time on technology public relations in Silicon Valley. His experience brings the team a strong background in technology coalition building and industry PR, with a focus on strategic planning and media relations.
Before moving to 463 Communications, David worked at Bite Communications’ San Francisco office on corporate communications for diverse companies like AMD and Infosys while also promoting transformational technologies like GPGPU computing platforms, ultimately raising the profile of both broad company brands and discreet areas of technology.
Priors to Bite, David worked at CLS, a Washington, D.C. based public affairs and crisis communications agency. At CLS he focused on coalition building, congressional affairs and media relations for clients in the technology, tax and healthcare fields, including a campaign to reform the nation’s patent system on behalf of technology companies.
Before CLS, he served as the director of government affairs at the National Small Business Association (NSBA), developing technology and tax priorities in consultation with small business owners and working to translate those goals into law through cooperation with policymakers.
David is a New York native, graduated with a B.A. from the American University in Washington, D.C. with a dual major in political Science and economics and lives in San Francisco with his wife and his son August.
